On Friday, Netley children hosted a very special Enterprise Fair at Netley! We have been working hard on our class Enterprise projects for the last two weeks, carrying out market research, designing products and advertising to customers. On Friday afternoon, we all set up our stalls and opened up the doors to parents, carers and visitors who were amazed by what we had produced. There was the Netley Postal Service, street food for sale, recipe books, board games, healthy living campaigns and even a school newspaper!
We have learnt lots about the important skills you need to run a successful business, such as teamwork, problem solving and staying positive. We also know that to be successful entrepreneurs you have to make a profit, so we can’t wait to find how much we made as a school! Thank you to everyone who came along to appreciate all our hard work! We would like to thank Rachel at Enabling Enterprise, Angela at YoungMoney and Sarah at Santander for all their help.
A huge thank you to Mr.Vincent for organising the afternoon and for all the teachers and children for making it such a successful event.
